Power Automate: Run Manual Onboarding Flow

  1. Go to Make.PowerAutomate.com
    1. Sign in using AppAdmin credentials
  2. Ensure you are in the HUD Power Platform Production Environment
  1. Go to my flows > Shared with me > ‘Onboarding from HCM – Azure AD User Setup (Provision on Demand)’

  1. You can click on the play button to run the flow instantly. It will prompt you to add the UPN of the user you are wanting to provision in Azure AD

  1. You will be required to enter the user principal name of the account that has synced from Aho but not provisioned fully into Azure (licensed etc.)

  1. The flow takes approx. 1 min to run. Once completed the account will be updated in Azure and the onboarding email will be sent to their manager.
 

Troubleshooting

The most common issue that occurs with the automate flows is when they need to re-validated. This can occur periodically. It is simple to re-authenticate by following the steps below.


  1. Go to my flows > “relevant flow” > connections (see above) > select “edit
  2. Review the relevant connections and re-authenticate if required.

Note: Any of these connections if they drop can be re-authenticated using the App Admin account. (Including the MS Teams one in the image above showing my account).
